The history of the firm has its roots and which was established in 2015 as N Maharaj Attorneys Inc. which primarily represented major commercial and financial corporations as well as high net worth private individuals. That firm continuously continues to evolve taking on additional professional persons and eventually culminated in the present firm, with offices in Pretoria and Johannesburg.
Natasha Maharaj as the Managing Director of the firm has a keen passion to help empower women in the legal field. The firm is ever expanding and rapidly evolving since its inception from being a primarily a single female practitioner to a multiple professionals firm to a commercial practice, representing a variety of private and public entities and persons, although not renouncing the principles that formed the cornerstone of its formation.

Natasha Maharaj
Natasha Maharaj is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, she was admitted in 2002 and practiced as a senior corporate lawyer for many years. In addition, she has served on numerous company boards bringing immense value to the organisations that she was appointed to. Her initial exposure to Regulatory and Commercial work was initially during practice in Pietermaritzburg for the firm J. Leslie Smith and Co. She has had to carry out forensic work on a major basis as she handled most of the claims where there were indications of fraud and has been responsible in the repudiation of many claims on account of fraud which she discovered during her investigative work. Natasha is also involved in banking law where she was appointed to the legal panel of Imperial Bank where her experience in forensic analysis had been relied upon. Natasha comes from a largely business background and is involved in business service and operations and as such, is well acquainted with the dynamics of business operations especially in the corporate environment. Her area of expertise in Compliance within various regulatory framework is outstanding and has allowed the firm to expand in different areas of law. Natasha is also a senior commercial litigation attorney and will have no difficulty in handling commercial matters (including land matters) on behalf of your institution, as well. Consequently, it is quite clear that Natasha has a wealth of experience in the private and corporate sectors which spans almost 18 years of experience.
